Our client based in Plattekloof, Cape Town is seeking a Junior Business Intelligence Data Analyst to join their team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights, supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other data repositories.
Develop and maintain data models, ensuring accurate and efficient data processing.
Create meaningful visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with business teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytics solutions.
Provide support and training to end users on data analytics tools and techniques.
Work closely with the IT team to optimize data infrastructure and systems.
- Experience
- 0-3years of experience in a similar role or relevant internship experience.

Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and data visualization software.

Knowledge of data modeling and database management concepts.

Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

Minimum qualification of a National Diploma in Information Technology or related field

Diploma in Business Analysis or IIBA certification (Desirable)

Data Governance certificate/course (Desirable)
