Our client, based in Century City, Cape Town is seeking a Level 2 Engineer to join their team.
Skill set required:
- IT Infrastructure & Cloud Management: Strong experience in designing, implementing, and optimising hybrid cloud environments, networking, and virtualisation technologies (AWS, Azure, VMware).
- AI & Data Analytics: Hands-on exposure to AI tools and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, as well as data analytics platforms used for automation and predictive insights.
- Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, including risk assessment, audits, and control implementation.
- Strategic Project & Transition Management: Proven ability to lead large-scale IT transformations, including transitions from reactive MSP models to proactive MIP frameworks, with strong agile and change management skills.
- Cybersecurity & Threat Intelligence: Advanced skills in threat detection, incident response, and AI-driven security tools (SIEM, endpoint protection) to proactively manage risk.
