Senior IT Technician

Our client based in Rivonia, JHB is seeking a Level 3 IT Technician to join their team.

Demonstrable experience in managing, monitoring and setting up:

• Veeam Backup & Replication
• MS Server, Hyper-V and Clustering
• LAN, WAN, VLAN, Routers, TCP-IP
• Firewall & Switches - setup and configure
• Exchange Server 2013/2016/2019
• Office 365 & Exchange Online
• Office 365 Application - Teams
• SQL Clustering
• Active Directory 2012/2016/2019
• DNS & DHCP
• Group Policy Management
• Printer Server
• Windows 7/10
• HelpDesk – Ticket System Management
• Reporting & Management of IT Issues
• Manage of 3rd party supplier

Firewall:

• Design/Setup/Configure with best practise
• Ensure Compliance of deployment
• Troubleshoot any Firewall and connectivity related issues
• Maintenance - daily/weekly/monthly
• Documentation and drawing skill
• Expertise in computer security – Anti-Virus Deployment/Maintenance etc.
• Problem-solving skills
• Customer service
• Attention to detail
• Time management

Switches:

• Setup/Configure Managed/Unmanaged
• Enterprise and SMB deployments
• Corporate and Branch Offices
• LAN\WAN

Recognised Tertiary qualification in IT
MS Certification an absolute must

At least 4 years’ experience at a senior level in a customer facing IT environment
Experience in working with various customer sites
